Sky in the Shivering Isles

Post » Wed Dec 22, 2010 8:52 am

I am obsessed with the sky in the Shivering Isles! Lol, I love the night sky because you can see the galaxies and nebulae, and the spore clouds are insanely cool. In the daytime, I like it because it looks like Tamriel's sky, but it has the yellow spore clouds. During the storms, I love the lightning-effect in the sky's texture.

Is it just me, or does everyone agree with me?

Indeed, the sky in the Shivering Isles is most cool. It does not have Masser hanging there as if Mars has come a knocking, but those http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/subrosa_florens/oblivion/Oblivion451.jpg

Yes, I love that sky. Also, does anyone else think the sky of the Shivering Isles during the day looks like a differently colored version of the sky in the Deadlands?

^As would I.

I love the sky in the Isles. The daytime sky is nice, but doesn't fascinate me much. The nighttime sky is amazing. It's hard not to stare at it.

Yes, they did a fantastic job with the sky in SI. Combined with the interesting landscape and giant mushrooms, it's really a great atmosphere. :)

That is one of them: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/subrosa_florens/oblivion/Oblivion434.jpg. She was a http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/subrosa_florens/oblivion/Oblivion414.jpg sleeper agent who never got "activated" in the Oblivion Crisis. Afterward she did not know what to do with herself. She did all the Daedric Shrine quests looking for a new purpose in life, and then discovered a strange door in Niben Bay...

Cool, my roleplaying characters are always either great rulers or assassins. :P

Ya. Its beautiful. My character would have quite bad neck cramps from looking up for so long if I spent to much time there.

Yeah it's cool, don't see the sky much since I spend most of my time running around in cities though.

I would have voted yes, but it reminds me too much now about chemtrails and how they′re trying to make us used to see it so I voted no.

I, personally, love the sky is the Shivering Isles, the deep purpe/pink colour is beautiful, an excellent addition in a twisted, insane world.

Heh heh. :whistling:

I love the sky in every Elder Scrolls game. Often times I'll catch myself staring at it for far to long...

Not just the sky, but the whole island in general is quite beautiful, so much more interesting than environments back in Cyrodil, some areas, like the entire swath of land around lake rumare are just...so barren 0.o
