Original - Wasteland

I'm only a tiny bit disappointed that Wasteland is not considered part of the Fallout Saga. (Even the Fallout 1 Box art said, "Remember Wasteland?" Oh yeah - some of us remember it. It was THE beginning, and it was good.)

Any other Wasteland Rangers out there? Bang your head!

Wasteland is a seperate IP, and would cause cannon issues with New Vegas....

Brian Fargo at inExile was wrestled control of the IP and hopes to make Wasteland 2 some day.

Ahh Wasteland!

I have fond memories. I wonder if it would work on DosBox? I wonder if I still have my discs?

I've played it in Dosbox. The gameplay doesn't benefit with exception of being able to alter the cpu cycles to slow it down (Almost a necessity - but great for dune running macros).
It runs fine without Dosbox in Windows XP - and the classic PC speaker sounds are kind of funny.
To agent_c: I didn't know that. I'd love to see a Wasteland 2 - a little competition never hurts, but it might be hard to compete with the Fallout Saga.

Happy 4th.
