Assassin/Theif roleplaying character

Hey everybody. (I play on the Xbox btw)

So I'm giving role-playing a try, and I thought of a basic character. He will be a petty-thief/small time murderer, meaning he won't get very far with the TG, and same with the DB. After a few quests in each, he'll stop there.

He's going to be an Argonian, named Walks-in-Shadows. He lived in a poor household in Bravil, and had to resort to stealing things to survive. He was heard of the rich people in Imperial City, and decided to go there. He then got caught picking pockets, hence why he starts out in jail. On the way to IC, his father gets murdered by the guard members, and he wanted to seek revenge on every guard figure there is.

So my problem is that I need some good attributes to go with him. I love marksman, so I might put that as a major.

Any comments?

Thankies

Best attributes for thieves / assassins are Agility, Speed and Strength if you wanna use other than Bows (Str is not necessary for bow damage). Intelligence heps you increase you magicka pool, so do not forsake it.

My experience shows that it is a lot of fun to potentialise bow strategies with sneak tactics and alchemy (for poisons). Go Light Armour if you wanna be sure to be protected and be able to stay stealthy (I usually go unarmored for strictly role-play purposes). Illusion gives you excellent effects (chameleon, invisible, paralyse).

If you really wanna make your bow deadly (but you must have a lot of practice) enchant it with Weakness to Poison or Drain Speed, so that two arrows are almost always what you need to DETONATE lesser fools who unwisely oppose your undisputed combat might.

And on lockpicking, u can use Security (again for rp-purpose) or I think Alteration is one good school (the best imo being Restoration for the Fortify Skill Secuirty 100 for 1 sec spell).

just a couple of pointers. if you decide to kill guards while out and about, one my assassins' favorite passtimes, since you won't have the Grey Cowl, it would be wise to take precautions against running your bounty up to high. a cupla ways to do that, get the guard beat down low enough to finish with a damage over time poison, or let Shadowmere finish them, if you get far enough in DB to get her.

another pointer, Illusion is an excellent skill for Argonian Assassins as they get a bonus in it. So if going a strict 'roleplay' character I'd advise picking it as a major. Also, it helps a lot to get Command spells then make short duration touch spells of command, like 4-5 secs and it generally works as the target will keep fighting another enemy until one of them are dead even after the effect ends. if you are not going to be making spells, the Command ones won't be very useful....to long a duration and magicka cost for too low level effect.
