Fawkes is not small or a runt. The reason why hes not as big as a Behemoth basically comes down to Bethesda made a lore-goof in order to keep Fawkes small enough to go through doors. Fawkes is old like really old and should be Behemoth sized however hes just smaller for game-play purposes and has no real reason why hes so small.
