Well i only have one character that i have played through very far into the game. He uses unarmed mainly with energy weapons as his secondary. His favorite weapon is the deathclaw gauntlet which is freaking awesome. I love slaughtering people with that thing :gun: . And i use ranger armor. He is a good character but he will steal or kill if he really wants to. Thats about it but I can't wait for New Vegas.

My player is a hoarder, collects literally everything possible from the site that he's at and forces either Charon, Cross or Dogmeat to carry the luggage (rarely Dogmeat though, he's treated like a king, or a queen, whichever gender it is).

I've loaded my companions with some okay weapons that they are good with and armour.
Charon
Tesla Power Armor/Helmet (or whatever it's official name is...)
Cross
Tesla Power Helmet
Gatling laser+ ammo (officially she finds the stuff herself from enemies she's killed, but I have a crap load of extra ammo for that).

My character is loving when it comes to innocent folk, and sadistic when it comes to raiders (if I'm in no rush, I enjoy slicing their limbs off with a combat knife, or bashing their skull in with a super sledge).
Because he is so sadistic towards enemies, it's only fitting he's suited up with the highest skill possible in every gun category (you can call it stupid, I call it strategy). It's not like reavers and overlords will fall to the all-mighty 10mm SMG. So for those tough enemies, I use my good pal Eugene.

He refuses to kill animals, which is why I got Animal Friend level 2.

Since he's such a hoarder, he's rich, having easily 10,000 caps in a locker at his house, and a few thousand caps around.

EDIT:I Forgot to add my actual favorite weapons (as of now)...

Small Gun-Lincoln Repeater/Chinese Assualt Rifle/The Kneecapper.
Energy Weapon-Tri-beam laser Rifle/Plasma Pistol
Big Gun-Eugene/Miss Launcher.

And when I said rich, I meant rich compared to almost everyone in the Capital Wasteland XD. :disguise:

Same here. However, I don't use companions as all of mine died in the heat of combat (May they rest in peace). I too collect everything in sight. I have Animal Friend 2, cause they are such a waste of ammo. I have WAY more than 10,000 caps....I have 126,000....I spend too much time and I can never sell anything cause no one ever has caps, and when they do, I'm too lazy.

Favorite Armor: Enclave Power Armor cause it looks AWESOME!!!
Favourite Weapon: Laser rifle for looks, and backwater rifle cause it brings home the bacon.
Favorite thing to do: Look for Random encounters, unique items, and funny [censored] like glitches.

Original Me - Paragon of the Wastes, a do-gooder choosing the virtuous karma path in every quest. Wears Outcast Power Armour (thanks, Linden) and Recon Helmet. Carries Victory Rifle and Metal Blaster, with 10mm SMG and Shishkebab as backup (the Five Four Weapon backpack rule). Has Clover as a companion, looking lovely in the latest line of Power Armour and a Roving Trader Hat. Also, I occasionally take Dogmeat out for a walk.

New Me - Neutral, small guns and explosives only. Combat armour and Vault 101 security helmet, Chinese Assault Rifle and Hunting Rifle (am only level 5, currently), with 10mm pistol and Sawed-off Shotgun as backup (see above). And some frag grenades in my backpack. No companions as of yet, though I think dear Greta may play a part in rectifying that very soon. Am currently just exploring the DC metro tunnels (before the Reavers appear), rather than questing. :)

Well, I've probably done a few run throughs now, but my all time fav character, who was my first, is still going...at 1200+ hours gametime.

Blackdog Jack.
Regulator, Scout for the Brotherhood, Honourary vampire, Ambassador for the Pitt, general all-round good guy, which is rather ironic seeing he's a hardcoe killer and overall an *sshole.
Fav weapons: Stabhappy, L. Repeater, scoped .44.
Most worn gear: Regulator duster, or raider badlands rigout. Fights in the ranger armour if he knows he's heading out to do some killin'.

Spent six months as a junky, took way too many meds and happy shots and went off the rails around the time he found a kid's skeleton in a bed up around Minefield. The Doc back at Meg squared him away on that, but he did some bad **** while he was on the happy juice. Cleaned up Paradise Falls during that time, but that's about the only decent thing he did.

Best friend is Dogmeat, who he protects and looks after even if he is too damn dumb and gungho for his own good. Human wise, guess you could say he's closest to Charon, and Fawkes, although he has a real soft spot for the traders and that old fart at Tenpenny's.

Runs a successful business as an arms dealer, collects weapons and armour, hunts raiders for fun. Definitely has a thing for that young chick down at Bigtown...

Total small guns nut.

"Commodore" Jack Coonley: A pistol twirling, gun slinging mad man, who has a pension for scarring up woman folk and cheating at cards, hes backed up by his trusty com-padre Jericho. Looks kind of like Gary Cooper

Richard "dike" Mantis: My quintessential noir alcohol driven private eye. He looks like Sterling Hayden

"Old Bone Tooth": The wily hermit prospector-esque survivalist. Looks like Lee Marvin in Paint Your Wagon

Xarnac The Conqueror AKA "The Scourge of Betelguese": My titular character is inspired by an alien Orson Welles with an orange tan (Since hes from the Betelguese System) and a blue pompadour.

Dr. Strangeglove: An eccentric scientist who strives for results, foregoing ethics and danger in the process. A neo-noir Frankenstein? Looks like Vincent Price

Dominic The Whale AKA Nicky Pork Chops: A stereotypical mobster, cold and calculating. A sociopath degenerate gambler, who has more bastard sons than Zeus. He looks Like Edward G. Robinson

Edgar Lumis: A drug addicted thieving scumbag, who's only motivation is a quick fix. His demeanor gets him into lots of trouble that his quick tongue gets him out of. He would be more dangerous if he wasn't such a coward. looks like Peter Lorre

To name a few...

I'll start with my flagship character. Possible spoilers...

His name is Daniel Quentin, and unlike other RP's I've done, he grew up in the Vault. His early adventures included clearing the ants from Grayditch, then swimming to Rivet City to find a new home for the sole survivor of the tragedy. While there, he aided Security Chief Harkness in dealing with a man named Zimmer, and was rewarded both with Harkness's customized plasma rifle and with a cybernetic implant taken from Zimmer's corpse. That weapon, and his uncanny expertise with it, would serve him well in his innumerable adventures. Outside a scrapyard, he met up with a dog by the name of Dogmeat, but he tragically lost his friend when they were exploring the Museum of History, and the unfortunate animal attempted to fight a Glowing One alone. He finally located his father and freed him, only to lose him in the Enclave attack. However, he met up with two new friends in rapid succession: a cybernetically enhanced Brotherhood paladin who had known him from babyhood, and a fearless meta-human who shared his attitude toward evil and those who perpetrated it. While the Brotherhood worked feverishly to get Liberty Prime combat-ready, this strange threesome spent many weeks crisscrossing the wasteland, helping those in need and bringing death and destruction to those who deserved it. Finally, the robot came online, and they joined the final assault on the purifier. Fawkes started the machine up, and the waters of life flowed, free and clear to all. However, Daniel didn't rest, for he had heard another call for help, in a place called the Pitt. Leaving his comrades behind, he set out for it. Trapped and alone in a hellish land of smoke, radiation, and slavery, he was forced to make a decision concerning the fate of an innocent and helpless baby, a decision that seemed to have no right answer...
