Land Size?

cuz vanilla oblivion landscape is soooo lame. Morrowind's was class indeed.

Really? Oblivion looks so much better, it looks fantastic. Morrowind looks...brown...Just brown everywhere, no foliage, nothing.

I hope that TES V's landscape is at least twice the size of TES IV's.

Probably an unrealistic expectation, though.

well you gotta take into consideration that morrowind is much more dated so the graphics of course can't relate. but the LANDSCAPING is way better. vvardenfell was a very interesting island to explore, cyrodiil lacks character and variety. there's a lack of landmarks and everything feels the same. same problem with the cities actually. unique landscapes and better cities take care of it, but for TESV there should be no need for that I hope

I found that the landscape consisted largely of hills you couldn't climb, which meant you could rarely go where you wanted to go.

Well, until you enchanted your first item with permanent levitation. :)

Well, most of the impressive bits came from vegetation and such, not really the terrain. The only large feature in Morrowind was Red Mountain and to see that from far away you need mods.

I'd really like to see 3 to 4000 meter high mountains in the next ES, real world scale. Neither ES3 or 4 had mountains anything as spectacular as what you'd see in real life, which is rather odd for a fantasy setting.
Like, really awesome scenery, like http://photography.nationalgeographic.com/staticfiles/NGS/Shared/StaticFiles/Photography/Images/POD/a/alaska-range-mountains-517968-sw.jpg, http://images.paraorkut.com/img/wallpapers/1024x768/m/mountain_scenery_-1742.jpg and http://www.johnbiggar.com/images/scotland/cuillin-scenery.jpg. And real, huge, cliffs, like http://photography.nationalgeographic.com/staticfiles/NGS/Shared/StaticFiles/Photography/Images/POD/f/filchner-mountains-519193-sw.jpg, not rocks tacked onto a large mound.

Umm... Have you saw the Bitter Coast, The Grazelands, West Gash, Solstheim, Mournhold...?

The only dull places where the Ashlands, Azura's Coast, Sheogorath Region, and Molag Mar. And those places did it justice. They all worked great.

Every single region in Morrowind was completely different. More than I can say for the differences between the forest and "swamp" of Oblivion. I want to see largely detailed, diverse terrains in TESV. I don't want to see places look exactly the same (I know I didn't know the swamps of Cyrodiil where swamps until I was blatantly told).

Anyways. I want to see something between Morrowind/Oblivion and Daggerfall. I think Daggerfall was far over-the-top. I also don't want it to be any bigger than Morrowind/Oblivion if randomisation isn't perfected, though. And, personally, I don't think it has. No Vote, from me.

And also, I don't want the land from in-game lore to be completely changed. I was so annoyed when Cyrodiil turned out to be a cliché forest. I don't want a snowy Elsweyr, a sandy Skyrim, or a desolate Valenwood. Although, I actually would like for thier to be changes where it helps. Vvardenfell was supposed to be a desolate ashy wasteland, but the flora-ey regions where all added. I wouldn't want Skyrim to be one big snowy wasteland. Warmer areas to the south could be nice, and some unique landscapes would be good, also.

Currently i dont think anyone knows where exactly the game takes place, but bigger is better. even if you have to do somthing cheesey like a boat ride to morrowind to add that, or boat ride to anvil to go back there,
honestly i would TES V to push the boundries in size, multi disk would make my day. ( as long as i can download the 2nd disk to my xbox hard drive)
Oblivion felt big, but exploring was only fun for so long,
more random happenings like a person asking for help ( random quest) would make it better. ( red dead redemption did this very well)
hopefully fast travel will remain in game. which will allow for a larger map to play around in an RPG's goal should to be fun for as long as possible. oblivion lasted over 100 hours, TES 5 whould double or triple oblvion.
