MCA 6.1 Problems

I posted a different topic regarding a compatibility problem with 6.1 and The Undead 3.0. I found out The Undead was already in that version of MCA. I've removed The Undead .esm and i'm trying to start a new game. I keep getting an error telling me the Morrowind Comes Alive.esm is missing. It's checked off in Wrye Mash, so I don't see what the problem is. I tried remerging my leveled lists and remerging objects hoping that would fix it, but i'm still getting the errors. Anyone know how to help?

try removing these patches. they might have been made to accompany earlier versions of MCA so they might be having problems recognizing the new MCA, possibly cause of some change. that would be where i would start. after that if it doesn't want to work try doing a binary search by cutting the number of mods you have loaded at once in half until you find the group causing the problem. then go from there. if my first suggestion isn't correct, then at least the second one will help pin down the problem, though it'll take a while.

Ok, Taddeus. I'll take care of that right now.


Edit: MCA 6.1 comes with an MCA - COV Addon patch, so I kept that one. Still works though.


Now it seems everyone that I talk to says "Please change me back! Don't leave me like this! Please! I don't want to be a rock!" I know I could systematically check each individual mod for dialogue saying something about this, but is there an easier way? I don't use TESTools to merge dialogue, only objects.
