Daedric temple questions

Post » Wed Dec 29, 2010 9:38 pm

I'm currently working on an underground city, a sort of wretched hive of scum and villainy, and I wanted to add a daedric temple that functions similarly to a tribunal or imperial temple, and I had a couple questions on things I should add:

I want a shrine similar to the ones in the other temples that give a buff when you donate some gold, I was wondering what kind of buff would fit a daedric shrine.

I plan on having three sections, each devoted to a diffrent daedric prince, and I was wondering which ones would go with a temple in an underground city. I already plan on having Sanguine, who's section will double as a bar, but what other two would be good choices?

Any other thoughts on good additions to the temple would be apreciated.

This is a good question for the lore forum - I suspect a good search through the USEP or Imperial library under each of the Daedric princes will give clues as to what to use

I think the buff would be fun if it was a bit unpredicatable - the Daedric seem to be chaotic and can either do good or evil

If you'd include a shrine to Sheogorath, the buff should also be a debuff - he is mad after all ;)

As for fitting princes...
Boethiah, with his shrine doubling as a fighting pit/arena
Nocturnal (her sphere is darkness - which is easy to find underground ;) )
Malacath could work (or not - depends on the city's backstory) as the patron of outcasts and those ostracized...
And (already mentioned) Sheogorath - his shrines fit everywhere ;)

Malacath fits very well for the setting, I think that's a definate, Nocturnal might work, I would have to think about it. As Illuminiel said, I should check the wiki and see which daedra princes work best.
