[RELZ] Shezrie's Villages

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 1:00 pm

Just installed this and the patches OMOD and am eager to get in game and see these villages!

Just a note, though...it would be nice in the ReadMe to list what files are being overwritten and why. I get really freaked out when I see a mod asking to overwrite dozens of existing meshes and textures, and nothing in the ReadMe to explain if i should do this or not. Ive spent a lot of time tweaking all the mods like QTP3 Redimized, UL, OOO, BC, Animated windows and chimneys, ect. I really need to know if these overwrites are doing anything bad to my previous mod installs. I can feel fine about a mod using existing files and adding new files, but when it wants to overwrite files, you should really let us know beforehand the whats and why's so we can make informed decisions. I hope Im not being obnoxious, I just like to know what Im doing.

I cannot list what particular files are being over written and why, because I don't know which files are overwritten as everyone has different mods. You will find that this is not the only mod that overwrites, pretty much every mod you install will ask to overwrite. Unless two files have exactly the same name and are NOT the same file, you will not have problems.

I'm about to install your mod and I need to know if I install the Shezrie's Villages.esp and the Sherzrie'sVillagesCOBL.esp or just the ShezriesVillagesCOBL.esp alone. Or do I rename the ShezriesVillagesCOBL.esp to Shezrie's Villages.esp and install it as mentioned earlier in the thread.

It is either one or the other, don't use them both together. If you want to use Cobl use just the ShezriesVillagesCOBL ESP instead of the Shezrie's Villages ESP.

I would like to direct everyone please to the new Shezrie's Villages thread over http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1040737&hl=
