[REQ] Simple mesh edit?

Post » Fri Jan 07, 2011 6:24 am

I was a little annoyed by the lack of good Grazeland tree replacers recently especially with Vurt's Ascadian Isles and West Gash and other tree replacers making everywhere else looking stunning. And then I came across http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8605. I love them! Exitedly I downloaded them, renamed Dracus' and N'dib's trees (I had to double some) to be Grazeland trees and BAIN installed them. Well I was right about on thing; they work perfectly in the Grazelands, making the place look much more alive and colourful. However, there is one major problem; their origins (where all three axes cross) are in completely the wrong places. What this means is try to use them as a pluginless replacers and half will be floating and half will be halfway up the trunk in the ground. Some are a little too large too. If someone who knows about these things could edit the location of the origins (or move the whole trees, same thing) and maybe scale some down a little it would make a fantastic replacer for not much (I imagine) work. Could anyone do this?

EDIT: sorry about that rogue 's' in the subtitle.

Download nifskope and move the meshes yourself. Easiest thing in the world =) Depending on how the meshes were made you either need to move one or all objects in the scene.

Good luck! =)
