It kind of stinks that it comes out on a tuesday for me because I have school all week and wont have as much time to play. I will still get it the first day it comes out but I think it would be nice if it could come out on Saturday the 14th. I know it can't be changed so I might have to be "sick" for the rest of the week.

I'm going to get myself sick for Tuesday. Wether its food poisioning or pink eye, it's sooooo worth it....

There is a marketing scheme or something behind releasing a game on a tues, what it is, i do not know, but many new big name releases are released on Tuesday's. I do not know why tho

most likely has to do with people getting paychecks on friday, and banks being closed till monday, thus earliest time for getting money from the paycheck is monday/tuesday. unless of course you go to walmart and pay them to give you your money...

at any rate it is annoying.

I also found out, it may be due to stores being closed earlier on Sundays, therefore if a game was released on Monday, there would be no Midnight sales releases as well. Therefore Tues. is the next best option

Game releases in the USA are almost always on a Tuesday, and it's almost always a specific Tuesday. L.A. Noire is being released on the exact same day as Brink.
Why? I have no bloody idea.

A lot of stores get their shipments in and restock their shelves on Tuesday, which is why so many new games are released on those days.

Oh, yeah, I know that, but why do they restock on Tuesdays? S'pose I could've been clearer.

Meh, Tuesday is fine for me, as (going go get into a bit of detail here ) this Tuesday happens to be my very last day as a senior at my school. Basically we drive to the park and have a large breakfast, then we go back home. As I hope the game should be able to pre-download the morning of Tuesday from Steam, it SHOULD HOPEFULLY be done by the time I get back, and will be able to play it then. Will be a great end to so a great year.

For some reason it seems that Europe has the same problem except its a Friday not a tuesday,. Actually that's the perfect day for it.

I know, right? If I could choose a day, it would be a damn Friday!

I'll probably have to wait 'till friday night to play Brink :confused:

Since it is relead 3 days later in europe, I will be lucky enough to hopefully get the game on friday, which means having 4 hours of school and a weekend filled with Brink. Awesome.
