I don't know. I came across one of my old cloth maps for Baldur's Gate the other day and...it's rather pathetic looking. It's slightly larger than a mouse pad and the cloth itself is made from some really thin material. It's not what I think of when I think of cloth. I'm voting no for now but I would vote yes if it were made from good material and was a decent size.

I'm not talking about a little cheap paper map that's the size of a mousepad. I'm talking a map as big as the ones from Morrowind and Oblivion, printed in ink on a nice CLOTH material.

Well, was already planning on getting the most expensive edition so a cloth map wouldn't affect my purchase; however, it would probably make the experience that much better. Would be neat if the map included a location that was not in the in-game map that you go to.(ex: Abandoned House).

They should carve maps into animal hides, and then ship them along with the collector's edition. :disguise:

Win.

Hmmm... I'm sure that once TESV is out, they'll release a complete TES Collection (TES I to V), hopefully with Windows ports of Arena and Daggerfall. That, would rock.

Even better if it was like the map that came with Morrowind, which had X's on it where a shipwreck was. Not sure what the x's would be for Skyrim, but still something like that would make the map feel so much more like it was actually a map form the game world, not made for the game world.

A cloth map is one of the things I'm hoping is in the Collector's Edition. Also, a "making-of" DVD and soundtrack are a must.

I would love a map made out of cloth or something similar.
In the CE, I think it would also be nice to have:
Another Pocket Guide to The Empire
A statue of something/one.
The Soundtrack (only if its good, though).

With or without a cloth map, I will still buy it. If they did do a cloth map I would hope that it was high-quality, otherwise, they shouldn't waste their time :)

Oh, and yes I would pay extra, but not necessarily because of the map.

I bought an ultima game at a garage sale last year for 14$ and it had a cloth map. I asked the guy if it was the limited edition he said they had no limited editions back then it all just came like that when you bought it. I want to know when they stopped doing stuff like that?? I want a cloth map for all the games I get.
