I didn't say a 7 year wait. Please read my posts if you're going to argue with me. And a Fallout every 2 years is rediculous.
Elder Scrolls Timeline
Arena - 1994
thats the timeframe i said for ES, 4 games plus expansions etc. in 12 years thats a game every 3 years, now fallout 3 came out 2 years ago aprox, so if FO4 isn't out for 5 more years thats a 7 year time frame between fallout 3 and fallout 4 ,and thats absurd, there is no reason to think they will wait 7 years to follow up FO3, and i hear many saying that, there is no basis for that at all, its certainly not based on bethesdas track record, or statements or actions past or present , thats just an arbitrary time frame with zero support to back it up. bethesda would be insane to let fallout die like that and based on pete hines and toddd howards coments they fully intend to develop the series into the foreseeable future. so i wish more people would actually research their track record, the time frame with the ES games and comments made by the game developers, this arbitray 7 year period between fallout 3 and fallout 4 is basically people who don't like the fallout series very much and they would just rather play ES forever. the very fact that bethesda not only bought the fallout franchise but also has obsidian making games for the series too is making a pretty bold statement, personally, i think they got burnt out on the ES series, how many dungeons and dragons type games does there need to be ? the market is flooded with those types of games, they obviously wanted to do something different, and they are, 2 fallout games in 2 years, but they only made one of em, so they are definately not gonna let obsidian upstage them for long, and a fallout game every 2 or 3 years is totally possible, there are two companies making games for the fallout series now, not just one. so yeah i think two companies can easily make a game every 2 to 3 years, fallout is a massivley popular game and as long as people are buying the games, the series is gonna be around. FO3 and NV is just gonna be the tip of the iceberg, not the end of the road.
