I reinstalled Morrowind, to have somthing to mess around on when I dont want to play Oblivion. Must say you all have done a amazing job keeping Morrowind alive, and making its graphics almost on par with oblivion.

Now my Question, is their a grass mod that doesnt have grass that is 5 feet tail? I have looked around but most of them seem very tall and very dense, makes it hard to see anything on the ground... yes I know that is semi realistic but not what I am looking for.

This really is a good idea. There might be a few tufts of long grass found in towns and villages, but for the most part, grass in populated areas and on frequently used roads would have been kept short. It would be great is someone could create a grass mod which incorporated both kinds, but since I don't know exactly how the grass is places and generated, i have no idea if this is even possible. I hope someone who does has a chance to read this thread and reply.

Hmm thats what I was trying to use, my character is 0.95 in height and some of it comes up to his chest at times.
Maybe I shall try lowering the scale in nifskope to see if that helps at all.

MGE has a grass density tweak I think.

I believe Vurt has made several versions of his grass: normal grass, lush grass, tall grass, and lush, tall grass. Check his thread to confirm this as I do get confused on occasion. Anyway, if I am not confused, you may find several esp's to choose from.

I use a "shorter grass" mod that I got several months back, but I don't recall the name of it. I know exactly what you mean; I HATE hunting for bodies in the weeds, and failing after 15 minutes of searching.

It's pretty bad with Children of Morrowind, too. Their entire playground in Seyda Neen is a jungle and sometimes all you can see of the children is the tops of their heads. It's kind of startling when you hear "Are you my fwiend?" coming out of nowhere.
