Shivering Isles Roleplaying

Post » Tue Jan 11, 2011 5:24 pm

Hello ! I would like to know of what Roleplaying in the Shivering Isles would be like, I love the dark sky in Shivering Isles and i really would like to Roleplay there, i also found a camp on UESP that's empty and has no respawnable chests. Please post your ideas for roleplaying in Shivering Isles ;) Something that would fit in by living in a camp.

My character's RP in the SI is limited to exploring and a few side quests. After what she and Sheogorath did to those poor Khajiit in Borderwatch, Buffy is quite ashamed of herself and angry at Sheo. In fact, she will never lift a finger to help him again. She'd be perfectly happy to see him lose whatever silly crisis he thinks threatens him.

That said, she quite enjoys the place - she will simply never accept a quest from Sheo. Like you, she often stays at the camps spread around SI while exploring.

This works fine for us, because I have completed the SI questline using other characters in the past, so I don't mind.

I would avoid the SI main quest unless your character is morally ambiguous. But that aside, the entire place is great for any character to explore. It is filled with amazing eye-candy, tons of dungeons, and lots of little side-quests. Vitharn was probably my favorite of the latter.

Like what Subrosa said. My current character, a mystic swordsman and mercenary/scholar , spends time in the Shivering Isles, specifically Mania, as a "vacation home" of some sort. After all, Demicus spent much time hacking and fireballing people to death, he deserves a vacation. Mania is a perfect vacation place for the characters that are like nobles or strong. But another option is Dementia for the crazy characters.

Simple. You want to understand what kind of place Shivering Isles is, but how more you understand, more you go deep in the madness. The question is: You carry this experience to Tamriel when you finish SI?

It is a land that exists in its own dimension. If you have installed the SI expansion, there is a new, small island in the Niben Bay near Bravil. On that island is a magic portal to the Isles.

roleplaying in shivering isles:-

forget the whole crazy thing and just imagine shegorath is a normal lord of a normal land. (RP your own conversations justly)

heretics are a sort of revolutionary group... scour the land and purge them.

become a swamp dwelling outcast who has shunned civilisation. You wear no clothes, use only a grummite cleaver and eat dead grumites. That is your life.
