When ever i play oblivion i can not pause or play it from my keyboards controls, does anyone know how to change this?

You talking about music? Like itunes or media player? I have my mp3 player jacked into the aux audio port on my computer so I can play my mp3 player through my computer. The controls are on that and not the keyboard. I suppose you could also use TAB+ALT to switch between windows.

Not listening to the soundtrack is blasphemous. Seriously, I have thousands of hours of playtime and the music still gives me goosebumps sometimes. had to steal the soundtrack online I liked it so much.

While I don't listen to music while playing, I have the same issue with using my keyboard's "mute" button (for example when the phone's ringing).

I guess it has something to do with how Oblivion responds to input.

Do you turn off the Microsoft eHome Infrared Tranceiver (which you can find in the device manager)? I use vista and tend to turn that thing of to be able to bring up the console ingame, but doing so makes me unable to control the music playback or volume on the keyboard while running the game. I don't know about you..
