I was wondering if anyone could confirm for me or give me info on how well Oblivion GotY edition will work on Win 7 Pro 64-bit? Including the usage of mods?
I already plan on installing Oblivion in another directory than Program Files. I was just wondering if Oblivion runs well enough on a 64-bit OS or if I should even bother?

Windows 7 works great for Oblivion, Your biggest issues will be sound and graphic card related, because Oblivion still uses DirectX 9, while newer games are using DirectX 11. See the pinned topics in this section for more information on compatability.

Do not and I repeat DO NOT install into program files...make a folder in C (or whatever your hd name is) to install games on Vista and Windows 7 the security measures they use are ridiculous and most likely will make the game unplayable eventually.
