The Return of Kane

The New California Republic is dedicated to bringing peace, security and justice to the people of the great west. NCR's fine police forces constantly patrol and arrest any raiders, cannibals, slavers, and lawless mutants within the country, and the NCR army valiantly protects the borders against outside marauders. To ensure justice and liberty, all citizens have access to NCR's courts and the right to vote for a representative of their choice to sit in the Hall of Congress. In the words of President Tandi "A safe people is a strong people."

Its funny how people never mention us anymore after the incident with the Brotherhood of Steel....

Tandi is now a very corrupt man. The citizens of NCR are being brainwashed now and barely anyone knows about us, the Old California Republic. Tandi didn't want you to know what had really happened and I bet he expected me to be dead that day he fleed.

Me and a couple of survivors from the bomb sat down at the remains of Camp Forlorn Hope. Many people ask my name and I tell them its Kane. I opened up a chest and pulled out a map and a few bullet vests. My clothes were torn and my arm was heavily bandaged. The Brotherhood of Steel had planted a bomb on the Momument of Paradox. Not too many people knew what Paradox was and according to Tandi Paradox never existed.

The priest in Rivet City was the only good person I knew besides us survivors. Somewhere near the Citadel and Rivet City was a lost vault with hidden secrets. A mutant/ alien breed called the "Brood" are said to lurk there but I have never seen one in my life so I can't really tell you what they look like.

I am on a quest of destruction to free Paradise Falls from the slavers. One thing Tandi hasn't bothered to do either. We had been at this camp for 5 years and now its time to show the world we are here. I stand in arms and say this one sentence.

"I Have Awaken, this marks the Day of Kane"!

*Any problems you see or questions?*

Short and sweet. Spotted a missing coma, my major concern.

Why is the NCR or the OCR bothering with the East coast? Why? It makes no sense to me. Please explain so I can concentrate on the story.

Tandi is a woman, who would be about 150 by the events of Fallout 3. After 200 years, NCR have only managed to expand as far as Vegas.

Other than that, pretty good work.

I will explain all in the next chpter tonight.

Also The OCR's last surviving HQ is in Rivet City so that is a reason why they are in the East.

The OCR's newest leader is Moe Stanson

.....so the NCR split into the NCR and the OCR when Tandi fled (which must have been sometime before Fallout 2) and then the OCR for whatever reason moved across the country to the East Coast?

Also..it doesn't make much sense to say

"I am on a quest of destruction to free Paradise Falls from the slavers. One thing Tandi hasn't bothered to do either"

When Tandi is either well over 100 or dead, and irregardless is on the opposite side of the country. She hasn't even heard of Paradise Falls..assuming she's still alive and not entirely senile.

Yes. This fiction, I really don't care whether or not if you have the OCR on the East Coast. I was just making sure that you were aware of the fact that The California Republic, both New and Old were concerned with the East Coast even though California is on the West Coast. Without thorough explanation before hand, it's no wonder there are some comments. I don't care, but I think it would've gone better if used some kind of new group. Once again, your story, do it how you want it just to let you know though if you push the believability factor too far, then most people won't bother reading. Just be careful.

The Reqium of Lliam.....

Kane and his group of rowdy soldiers set foot through the forest. They had to be on heavy lookout for Deathclaws lurking around. Not too many people had heard of the forest of Morph, and that is a very good thing. Wanderers die everyday in this forest searching for a strange group of philosophers and fighters called The Reqium Of Lliam. This Lliam character was the only person, if existed, to know why the OCR split up and who the heck they were. Kane himself believed that the Reqium may just be another settlement similar to that of the Republic of Dave. Kane watched the ground and sky closely to make sure he didn't step on anything that might set some type of alarm or trap off. Back to Lliam, people also say Lliam is the only one with a functioning GECK in this particular vicinity.

Kane crouched down when he saw a building come into site and motioned the others to do the same. A man in a lab coat was walking around some monuments and structures picking up blood samples from the dead bodies strewn across the ground.

This area looked like the Capital Wasteland of the West, difference? This one was made specifically for war needs. It would be one [censored] up day if the West literally tryed to attack the East. As strange as that sounds, anything is possible these days. A soldier in the group named Tek was looking for clues leading to the FEV. That was the most strange thing looked for all day. Kane coughed as he tryed to get closer to the building. Grass looked grayer and grayer until finally they met sand. A long broken road followed around it and to other buildings. Soldiers in gray walked out of them and just did random things.

This may have been the reqium of Lliam if we are not mistaken.
