Wrye Bash #30

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 10:39 am

Yes, lock times will reset the timestamp on an updated mod back to what Bash last had it set for. As far as I can see, that's the whole point. It helps preserve your load order once you set it.

If you're adding new bits of stuff to things then just use bash to move it up or down (ctrl+up/dn arrow keys) and it won't matter if lock times is on or not, bash will still move it.

Can anyone tell me if I can adjust the in-game time using Wrye Bash? I mean: 1 real hour spent playing = X hours of Oblivion time

Or will I have to rely on another mod to do that?

I've looked in Wrye Bash's tweak settings and I haven't found anything like this (or I may have missed it)!

Thanks!
Henrique.

You can use COBL. If you don't use COBL, you can use console command:
set timescale to (value);Actually, it's what COBL does when you choose timescale in COBL option menu

But when I use the console command, this configuration will be saved when I exit and then get back to gaming, or will have to type the command every time I game in?

Thanks!

Timescale is saved in the savegame, so if you set it then save, it will stay adjusted next time you load that game.

However, if you load an older save game, then it will revert to whatever the timescale was at that time.

The installation guide is included with the download package. Look for an html file in the MOPY folder.

I have done some changes to Wrye Bash adding in a few tweaks to the Game settings for more of a play of options

Download:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/oblivionworks/files/Wrye%20Bash/Wrye%20Bash%20272.exe/download

it is in a self installer and will detect where you have oblivion installed and will place all the files in the correct folders for you taken all the guess work out of it

The changes add

Training Max
Maximum Armor Rating

Wherever you installed Oblivion to.
The default (from memory - and for the file you want) is C:\Program files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Mopy
And then open the file called Wrye Bash.html. It will open in your Web browser.

I am confused!
There are 2 Wrye Bash download pages at TesNexus now:
The official one (so I think) is Release 271 at :
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22368
and this one, that claims to be version 272
Is this a private release or what?

That appears to be Raziel tweaked version.

Current 'popular - used by most' version is 271 - which btw displays as 270 in my copy.

Raziel-
How much did you raise the armor rating max?

Yeah, Raziel, you should probably include the info from your post above--and your authorship--at the top of the description tab on the TESNexus page to avoid confusion. (I'm assuming it was you that uploaded the file.)

if you like you can go to here https://sourceforge.net/projects/oblivionworks/ and use the SVN.

I kinda baby sitting it until Wrye Decides to return to keep it alive.
