Have recently come back to Oblivion after a few years break and installed it onto a Win7 pc using a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse (no drivers required).

The first time I installed Oblivion and SI (with the latest patch) and then installed FCOM and a few other mods. Had no problems running it and left the tutorial dungeon and ran around in the world before I realised I hadn't used wrye bash correctly. Did a clean install again the same as before but this time when I ran the in game keyboard did not respond ie ESC on the movies and the alpha characters when typing in a character name. Ctrl-Alt-Del, Alt-Tab and the mouse still worked correctly but with the rest of the keyboard the game can go no further.

So far I have tried:
- Installing again and trying Oblivion unpatched (v1)
- Installing Oblivion and SI and patching up (v1.2.0416)
- Spyware and virus scanning
- Moving the wireless USB reciever to another port
- Checked the registry entries and oblivion folder (in the My Games folder) are deleted after an uninstall

I have added no new hardware, software or windows updates and all installs have been to the E drive. At this stage I have no idea what else I can do to get it running again so hopefully someone will be able to shed some light.



UPDATE: have got it working perfectly again, all I had to do was change the install path from E:\Oblivion to E:\Oblivion-PC
