Indeed it does, and I was just about to mention it.

Attention everyone with a story almost done: If you want it to be in Feyfolken at all, be sure to send it to me tonight! Anything past midnight is not acceptable, and it will not be put to next month's because we intend to have a story theme everyone will follow. Thank you to all who have already submitted, and, to the rest of you, please hurry :D

Just to let everyone know, the stories are being reviewed by the judges as we speak. As soon as they're done I'll put the stories here, for you all to enjoy :) Remember, the next contest will be put off for some time for us to discuss some new ideas (story starters). Thanks :D

I look forward to reading them. :) After such high-quality writing in the last contest I have high expectations...

A note to all my judges: I would appreciate it if you could rate the stories before the weekend is over. Please and thank you :)

To all my readers and authors, I'll be posting the stories as soon as the judges finish and we tally our results. Thank you guys as well :)

I would like to participate as a writer. However, if the positions are filled, then I shall gladly wait.

I'm working on a story. Probably will be greatly long though...

I will enter a section of it possibly, but we will see. Darkom, call me back up if you need a judge again. I'm open for now.

Terribly sorry, but the deadline is done. No more stories for the second contest, though you can enter the third once it starts up. Thanks :D

3,000 word maximum for contest entries, please.

Perhaps next time, as the judging should already be going on right about now.

Speaking of which, judges, we need you! Not one story has been posted on, and they've been up for a whole week now. Please post this week or weekend, we can't do anything without your ratings  Thank you very much for all your help.

I was going to wait until this one ends, and then after the public voting and the crowning of the winner is done with open a thread for the next contest. Then after a few weeks of discussion and waiting we begin the next contest thread. But if you have some ideas you want to get down then feel free. This thread isn't being used for much else right now.

I believe we have three judges this time, and only one story has reviews from all of them. Sparrow is the only one who is done with judging :goodjob: Which means you other two need to hop to it :P

But really, thanks judges for helping so far, and I would really like it if we could finish up this week ;)

I hate to pester you, my good judges, but we really need to wrap this up. One story already has all your reviews, but the others are lacking. I understand some of you might not see this, but if you do please let me know or finish up. If not, then I'll start sending PMs. I hate to press you all like this, but we are a little behind schedule. If you're pressed for time let me know so I can ask someone else to help out. Thanks :D

By the way, if we don't finish up by Monday then we can go ahead and start the third contest thread. Story starters this time :)

EDIT: Indeed, I had intended to do just that, but the third contest was scheduled to start in the beginning of November, giving everyone a good week or two after the voting was done. As the voting has not yet finished, I figured the inactivity between the deadline of this contest and and the results was a break in and of itself.

But thank you very much for finishing that :) I really appreciate it, especially considering how busy you are.

i'd leave some space between now and the end of the 3rd contest. maybe time it so that Thanksgiving break is included (gives both the writers and the judges some leeway).

just wanted to say that im finishing up my batch :)

You could put the stories up on the forums so we could read them. Just post the judge's decision when they're finished.

Indeed, I suppose I could. Alright, I see no problem in that, Shades. I'll go ahead and do that now then, save some time :) Thanks.

EDIT: No problem, my friend. Thanks for getting to it, I appreciate your help.

Sorry! And a thousand times more sorry! I've had to get BT to send an engineer to fix the phone line, as it just wasn't staying connected online (or making a call) for more than a minute and a bit each time.

Anyway, my apologies, and it's fixed now. My comments and scores will be up at t'other place as soon as possible!

Once again - SORRY!
