Impossible to save game on Fallout 2 : Fallout Series Discussion

So for me Fallout 2 has been full of a huge amount of issues.
I have resolved all others, but I CANNOT save the game.
Every time I hit save it says there has been some Error, and it cant save.
Anyone know what is going on?

Don't know about my DX Diag yet, but Im on Windows XP, and I got tonnes of free space.

I don't know much about XP anymore. Although it has something to do with the installation; a clean manual installation is always recommended.

Patch it and run it in Win98 comp mode and see if that works
