Clep Home Refurbished

Some people may remember my http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10239 . It is long over due for an update.

You can thank the http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11532 mod for inspiring me to dust off Clep Home and give it a totally new revamp.

I have pieces that I have made and either released at one time, or kept for a rainy day that will be added. There are also many new resources that I would like to add as well.

Goals of the revamp:
-Easier navigation to even more rooms
*Living Room ( 2 windows, fireplace, games )
*Dining Room ( Eating area, bar, bathroom )
*Kitchen ( Fireplace, pantry, freezer room )
*Office ( Office desk area, Hospital items, bathroom )
*Bedroom ( Fishtank, Master bathroom )
-More places to show off your treasures

Suggestions:
*Default workbench so it is compatible with mods like CRAFT
*Labeled containers that are easily seen
*Bobblehead stand
*More labeled med containers

Credits so far:

HaloGunner117,Skykappa, and SaidenStorm - New VUroom Wall Pieces.
TAJocelyn - Fireplace and Vault Small Room

Now, if any of you use clep Home 4.5 version and have any requests, suggestions, ideas, complaints...speak up now :) I have already placed the layout and am happy with the results so far.

Even if you never used my Clep Home, feel free to post away your wants, suggestions, and even things you don't want in the revamp :)

Awesome :D Very glad to see this get an update as I currently use it.

Suggestions:
A workbench compatable with CRAFT and such
Labels on front of cases
Bobblehead stand
More med containers for mod added Meds, or fewer so we can just pop them all in one place

Thank you, this has been nagging at the back of my head for the past few months to get around to improving this, now I have a real reason to want to lol.

*Workbench - Yes, I will put the default workbench in so that it will work with all other mods that change it :)

*Labeled Containers - I agree with you and will make them show on the front so all you have to do is look at them to know what the containers are :) I am thinking of a slanted shelf system so that you can use the same containers to move around if you don't like the new places I place them, and you can place your weapons on them and see them easier than if they were on a flat shelf.

*Bobblehead stand - Would you or anyone else mind if I used the http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4358 script method? This way if anyone has any bobbleheads placed in the default Fallout homes, they can be removed and placed into Clep easily.

*More Med Containers - I agree with this as well. I am using FWE and that will give me an idea of how many more I will need :)

Great suggestion! Thank you :)

Yeah the bobblehead sctipt would be awesome. I was trying to use FF Interactive Bobbleheads with its portable bobblehead stand (Which is compact and nicer looking) but while I could place the stand, I could never get my bobbleheads to show on it.

If you need any help or testing let me know :)

I added quite a few of the items from the original clep home, to the Refurbished one today. Some of the textures I did for the Clep home, I didn't bother with and used the default textures. I was afraid that since this version is bigger, I didn't want the file to become double the size if I can help it. For example, I went with the default file cabinet look since it wasn't that much different anyways, yet the trash can, I had to use the texture I made...cause I hate rust!

When I have more clutter added, I will start posting pictures, don't worry :)

@ Scynthe - You got it, I will make a list of testers and add your name there :) It always helps when you have someone test it out to let you know if you are missing a texture, or some kind of furniture eats your favorite item :bolt:

@ TeeHee:3 - Thank you so very much! I always enjoy reading when people enjoy anything that I have created :D Hope the next version does the same!

I am trying to upload some images that I took and photobucket isn't playing nice. It hasn't played nice for me for the past few months for some reason. If I try to upload a few at once, it always stops at 7% no matter how may I try. If I try one at a time, it gets to 100% but never goes to the next page so I can apply a tag if I wish. I thought it was script blocker, but I just removed that and restarted firefox, still same thing. I think it is time for a new image hosting site... any suggestions?

For the time being, I can show you the layout of http://i331.photobucket.com/albums/l441/Mysticgaminggal/Clep%20Home%20Refurbished/Untitled.jpg. I will upload more when I find a new site :brokencomputer:

Wow that looks significantly larger. Any chance the armory/display room will be keeping the same/similar layout? I really felt that its design worked perfectly for it.

Hooray, Miss Sparkle is back with a new version of the CLEP home! I can't say I have any particular thoughts or desires for the house at the moment, but I would be glad to act as a tester for you again. I'm sure once I get into the house and poke around a bit, I can offer some thoughts and perhaps some suggestions. :)

@ Scynthe - I didn't add a single room for storage/display items this time around. My plan is that you will be able to use the whole home as displaying and storing your treasures. For example, there will be a container for books in the living room and then you will have the bookshelves to place the books. That way you won't have to travel from one end of the home to the other. I will provide an updated image to label the rooms so you get a better idea of how everything will be placed :)

@ Ashya - It is about time huh? I have wanted to do an update for so long, but lost the motivation till the placement mod came out :D I shall add you to the list for testing, thank you!

Keep in mind, the lighting will change drastically, I only added some so you could actually see something besides darkness :P Right now everything is very empty. I have many plans and ideas, don't you worry ;) This is only day 3 of the progress.
Progress Pictures:
http://yfrog.com/4rscreenshot15dp - Not happy with the texture, so will work on that more.
http://yfrog.com/j6screenshot14cp - have a vision of a spa feel with flowers and other type of things
http://yfrog.com/jascreenshot13xp - Thinking of a fountain in the center
http://yfrog.com/5gscreenshot12rp - Fish tank is already in place!
http://yfrog.com/03screenshot11ozp - Don't worry, there will be a bed in there.
http://yfrog.com/07screenshot10ep - Where most of the medical and office supplies will be located
http://yfrog.com/5nscreenshot9kp - Think of this as the experiment side...muhahahaha
http://yfrog.com/jascreenshot8jp - Store your cans and non cold food items
http://yfrog.com/15screenshot7cp - Keep those meats and cold foods fresh
http://yfrog.com/3oscreenshot6kp - Will have more things, don't worry
http://yfrog.com/86screenshot5dcp - Plenty of space to prepare those meals
http://yfrog.com/cbscreenshot4cp - Will have lots of shelf space to store all those drinks
http://yfrog.com/edscreenshot3up - Drinks have to exit at some point
http://yfrog.com/0yscreenshot1lap - Hellooo lloooo oooo (echo sound)
http://yfrog.com/jcscreenshot0bp - oooo ooooll ooolleh (oh look, a game of catch the echo)

[Edit] Ok, here is the http://yfrog.com/jb27738876j layout so you can see what rooms are what :P

Truth be told, I haven't been working on it. I took some time to test and make textures for the slanted shelf resource and have also been too tired a few nights to do any modding at all :( I also had to do another little project.

I feel this layout is too big though. I like small places that I don't have to walk very far to get what I need or what. I also see some very interesting ideas floating around on these forums, so I am keeping an eye on those.

I will try to get my butt back into gear and get back to this project very soon lol :) Thank you for the interest!!
