Comprehensive Dragon Mods Guide

Post » Mon Jan 24, 2011 6:12 pm

Really good guide. I never even knew all these dragon mods existed. The guide has been up for a while too. I have been having troubles with dragon lord. It works fine at first but then only decends and won't accend. I end up having to recall it to a high place to fly anywhere. I disabled everything except morrowind and the two expansions and even tried a new start but still the same thing. Any suggestions would be great.

Well, this dragon, Chrysophylax, is not little, nor nasty - actually he's the nicest gargantuan Dragon that ever set claw on Nirn. Yeah, sure, he might have been nasty in his youth, but since nobody lived so long to tell the story, he passes as a decent, kind, tax-payer dragon of Mournhold (sure, he doesn't like little, sneaky thieves and barbecues one once in a while, but he'd swallow one so fast the Ordinators will never know!)... The rumor was that he has a twin brother, with scales made of indestructible Red Mountain rubies, who will arrive to Mournhold in a future update of this mod, and is really, really nasty... ;)

Sounds very interesting! I'll be downloading it and checking it out.

Oh snap, I'm gonna have to start learning animation, and texturing so I can work on improving those Nightwing models...I honestly think they are the most "beastly" looking dragons released for morrowind, and if they didn't have their hiccups, and low res textures, they could be quite cool.. :bolt:

That'd be great! I'd love to see its animations receive a going-over and be made to work.

Hmm. Not sure. I haven't tinkered with it in a long time. Someone with the skill might want to take a look at the scripting to see if there's some sort of bug.

I like it too. :)

Oh my. Now that is really pushing the envelope. A mod that replaces siltstriders with, um, big fierce dragons. I guess, given my previous stance, I kinda have to put it on. Definitely a tongue-in-cheek dragon mod. It'll be the red-headed stepchild of the Dragon Mods. Will get it added shortly.
