Hey all, people probably don't know me on here. So, I'll give myself a little introduction and explain why I'm making a thread on this forum ;D
I'm James, 18, UK/Birmingham and I've been playing games since as long as I can remember. I've been compet gaming for years now. I've attended LAN's and been in various "successful" teams since (2005/2011) Warcraft 3, BF 2142, Gears of War and most recently & my strongest game, Halo 3. I have played against/played with/competed with some of the best teams/players coming out of the EU at LAN and online. I love competitive gaming and it's the only way I can properly enjoy a game.

I didn't like Reach, so I stopped playing Halo all together now. Reach was far to slow paced for me and I was playing for just over 2 years so I was getting bored of the Genre in general. I've only looked at bits and bobs on Brink and it looks amazing. Very fast paced and I'm sure it brings alot of insane individual skill/teamwork/dedication to the game. Which is exactly why I want to play it!

Just wondering if anyone has the same idea as me, and why you're going into Brink competitively. Hopefully, it won't be a let down but I'm sure it will be good.
I'll be playing from day 1 and I'd prefer to have a few good/potential EU/UK players to be sweating the game with me.

If theres anyone from HRF on this forum, then Z loves you ;D

Welcome to Brink's community, personally my favorite. I play pretty competitively in all my other games, and plan to for Brink. What really drew me into Brink was fast-paced gamestyle it showed.

Yeah I love fast paced shooters. The SMART thing is really impressive. The fact that you can maneuver over obstacles that fluent/fast will be key in Brink I believe.
I reckon I am going to have a ton of fun on this game ;D

I don't really know that much about Brink but it's really appealing

Yup, I'm all about fast paced games, gunz, s4 league, blackshot and such. Games like CoD and BF are too much camp and wait 10 hours for a 2 second fight. I personally feel Brink is going to my favorite FPS and go over my previous favorite of shadowrun.

Yeah It reminded me alot of shadowrun. I am excited to see how far Brink goes competitively because I'm definitely going to be a putting in the hours, sweating it in the playlists!

Any Shadowrun fan is a friend of mine. From everything I have read this game has all the potential to be an amazing competitive shooter. I just hope we will have enough people supporting it so it does not end up like shadowrun.

We should try to get Shadowrun games going with the Brink community, seem's good amount have played it. I personally have it for 360 and PC.

I would have to use my brothers xbox since mine is busted for the billionth time. That sounds good though. Im not the best SR player but I can handle myself. I usualy play human or elf.

Question, this is a bethesda forum, which has different forums for different games, like brink/obvlivion etc.
Will there be an official, independant Brink forum, for competetive & casual gamers? Like a forum where it's about creating teams and scrimming the others on a forum. Plus, a proper strong Brink community!
Or will it just be this?
