Dwemers

Puzzle Box is actually pretty easy if you just know what door to take. I think people had difficulty with Arkngthand because it was usually their first big dungeon in the game. Lots of rooms, a couple of early inaccessible areas, lots of enemies, etc. Usually you find it via process of elimination, but some folks just never checked the second floor.

Arkngthand was hard because the map layout told the player to go the wrong way and then go much deeper.

I had heard a lot about a mysterious Dwemer puzzle box and its elusiveness.

That's the point! Dwemers stuff are coll becouse they are RARE.
...and well hidden or well-guarded.
...and they look like from another world.

Talking about - I hope that we will be able to meet with some Dwemers Guardians again :D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvpoR7knnI0&t=6m48sof the Road to Skyrim: The Todd Howard Interview - Part 2 Video Todd talks about how epic cities that have been carved out by dwarves long ago that these guys [Nords] have moved into. Plus in the GI article it talks about expansive dungeons and ruins, I don't think it would be a stretch to perceive these as Dwemer. Of course I have hope for some Falmer ruins as well. It is Skyrim after all.

Right, Todd didn't use (so far) not once word "Dwemer" :(

..but - are in TES lore any other dwarfs than Dwemers??

Looking back at the puzzel box quest and me now nowing were it is sure its easy to find, but if you dont notice the lader up to the next floor then your stuck. I had a early flat screen back then whih did not have that great a light in it. The result was a lot of Morrowinds dugens were very DARK and I sware I could simply not see a entry to the second floor. God I hope my memory is correct, its been way to long, perhaps I will play this again soon.

No expectations about Dwemer or Dwemer ruins but it would be nice to have some Dwemer clockwork/steam punk stuff.

Dwemer = dwarf

Altmer = High elf

Bosmer = Wood elf

Dunmer = Dark elf

etc...

Dwemer Ruins were always the most fun locations to explore in Morrowind, especially the larger ones built into cave systems. While I like the art direction for the Dwemer armor in Oblivion, and understand that it was ACTUAL Dwemer armor, as opposed to parts of Dwemer artifacts, I do hope they keep the look and feel of Dwemer ruins the same as Morrowind in Skyrim. I TOO WANT THE COPPER WALLS AND STEAM-PUNK DESIGN!
