Hey guys and girls!
Im playing Fallout3 at the moment its good to be back, but the joy of Wasteland exploring has been ripped away from me...
I cant save my games anymore! Well it says its saving, but actually: it does nothing at all. its not like theres an error or something it just doesnt create a save...
This is not Savegame related and is not caused by mods. Im not sure Re-installing (which would be a nightmare after carefully installing 55+ mods) will help because this problem actually affects New Veags too!!
Is this known? I hope you cab help me. Im desperate =(

As a general rule you shouldn't post multiple copies of the same thread - however if this is affecting FONV as well as FO3 it's acceptable although it's also odd that you'd have this problem show up with both games, presumably at the same time.

Try using FO3Edit to masterupdate your game.

Quick how-to:
Install http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=637 and make two copies of the shortcut on your desktop.
Rename one of the shortcuts FO3MasterUpdate.exe and rename the other copy into FO3MasterRestore.exe.
Double-click on FO3MasterUpdate and let it run. When it finishes, close the window and go start your game.

Anytime you want to add or remove mods, run FO3MasterRestore first. Add your new mods and run MasterUpdate again.

If that does not help your saving problem, you likely have a corrupt save and will have to reload an older one.

It is not a dirty or corrupt save.
1. this issue applies to FONV too.
2. same issue with a new game even

Maybe it has something to do with a virus. cause the last thing i did was running a virus program and deleting dangerous files (5 or so?) maybe they were needed for this?
My folders are flaged as "read only" is that good or bad? cause i cant change that....^^
