One more of these damned issues...

I'm completely TIRED on these stupid random issues, whats going on? My Fallout 3 suddenly didn't open. Yesterday worked ok, nothings changed since that. As I click Play from the launher, Lauch FOSE from the FOMM or try to open straight Fallout3.exe, nothing just happens. Nothing.

Well I tried to Run As Administrator, nothing happened except now it asks me if I let the program to do changes to the computer, and in FOMM when I lauch the game, FOMM says could not inject dll. Dunno whats going on. Tried to launch without mods, no result.

Please tell me what is this problem.

I reinstalled Fallout with my friends disc and I took the old fallout into another folder, in case I may need something. So I had the brand new Fallout 3 in My Games folder, and it worked fine with the disc. As soon my friend left (and took the disc) I tried to play without disc. The same problem happened again! First it said about some number 5360 or so missing from xlive.dll, and I noticed theres no such thing like xlive.dll in the FO3 folder. I dragged xlive.dll out of the old Fallout 3 folder (that one in another place) and now when I tried to launch the new one with the xlive.dll, the hourglass appeared for a while but still nothing happens. FOMM launch says "could not inject dll".

Is this all about that xlive.dll, anyone?

//Edit, it really seems that the game can't be played without disc, but how cant it be, 'cause I've played without disc since I lost it. I found the damn disc but it was broken by full of scratches. Should I just buy a new one and play with that disc?

//E2: Readed some forums and someone said downloading and installing this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=05013300-5D14-4DC9-9145-991EA1B8E4B0&displaylang=en would fix the problem, but those damn idiots have deleted that file -___-. Is there any other patch like this, or new versions of this etc?

Get magic ISO. Have your friend come over with his disc. Make an ISO of that disc. Get Daemon Tools from www.filehippo.com or somewhere and mount the iso in there and try that. IF its just the disc issue that should take care of it.

You probably just need to update your Games for Windows Live. Go to the Microsoft website and download it from there. I had problems booting up my GOTY edition before I updated it, but it was fine afterwards.
