Can someone make a quick modification to a Mod for me?

Post » Mon Jan 31, 2011 11:49 am

So I currently have the steam version of Morrowind. I had the disks back in the day but they are no more, except for the Construction Set Disk I managed to find. Problem is, theres a major issue with the Steam Morrowind that only allows vanilla morrowind mods to be loaded into the Constuction Set, attempted to load tribunal or bloodmoon crashes it. Grrrr....

I found this mod: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7021 that I would like to use, but I wanted a very small modification made if anyone would be willing to help. The masks provided have enchantments already on them, I'd simply like to make them unenchanted helms with an enchant value of 250.

If anyone could do that for me I would be super duper appreciative.

Thanks in advance. Cheers

Edit: The initial modification I needed was done, much thanks to Pwin.

I was wondering if I could get one more bit of help. I am currently running Uvirith's Legacy (and loving it by the way). My only complaint is with the Telvanni Tower Slippers your given. They give you a 15 point levitate whenever your in/near a Telvanni Tower. The problem is, 15 points of Levitate is paaaaainfully slow. My manual levitate spell is 100 points and it's still slower than getting around on foot. I love the idea, it just needs to be faster. I have no idea how the script works or how to edit it at all but I need that levitate to be 100 points instead of 15. This would make the mod perfect in my opinion.

Although I'm sure most of you know of the mod I'm referring to, the link just in case is here: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?id=5997&view=Mods.Detail

If this is doable I would be greatly appreciated.

Getting the whole boxed set (yes, they still make it!) should run you no more than about $10-$15 if you want to get the disks and avoid the Steam version's temperment.

You probably need this http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=29388 for Morrowind GOTY - Steam version. :)

Thanks a bunch. Really appreciate it.

Aye, well the reason I prefer the Steam method is that its no disk required to be inserted to play. I have alot of games and switching disks is a hassle that I like to avoid whenever possible.

Getting it, thanks. Hopefully it fixes my issue.

Thanks again everyone for the quick response.

I've also put up one final request in the main post. If anyone is able to do this it would be greatly appreciated.

If you are the legal owner of the game disk you have the right to make backup copies of the disk for your own use. Get PowerISO and make a ISO Copy off your disk, then mount the ISO to a virtual drive...no additional disk is needed.

It doesn't work well on more modern games, but old games like Morrowind run very well and you don't need Steam

Yeah, we're all dealing with that hassle. Looks like you might have to.

If TESCS is not available, you could use http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=other.detail&id=52, select SPEL uvi_tower_lev, change the 2 values MagMin and MagMax from 15 to 100.

Thanks for the link. K I'm using it now, I've found the spell uvi_tower_lev and when I select it a bunch of information appears on the right side, but I can't find MagMin or MagMax anywhere. Sorry if I'm being really noobish

I found it. Thanks!
