I like radiant AI, it makes the game more believable. Or do you want the NPC's to always be in the same spot like in WoW or Guildwars? No thanks.

The only point I can see to this Semi-trolls threads (I say semi-because he actually tries to make points when he posts a response, but he doesnt respond in his thread, he just looks at responses and thats it) is that it encites discussion or cohesiveness in the forum, you know the Obvious deviant causing the settled masses to huddle up and become more aware about their similarities stiffling conflict internaly and focusing on the Deviant.

EDIT - spellcheck attempt lol

Sure, radiant AI is trying to simulate real life activity for the NPCs. But seriously, I really don't care about what they do everyday. On the other hand, it makes it really hard to try to find them (yea yea I know there's the magical arrow, but if we mod it out to get a challenging gaming experience, it's impossible to find an NPC cuz they could be anywhere during the day, and at night they are locked up in the houses). It's like every effort in trying to simulate real life in a game, it doesn't feel right until you put every aspect of real life in, which is not possible with today's technology.

If they use radiant AI, they should at least give you the option to ask another NPC where and how to find a certain person.

Whatever dude, they will have advanced radiant AI in the game anyway :) you want lifeless npc's in all the cities go play assassin creed or whatever ;)

NPCs to be glued on the spot night and day, sun, rain or snow... oh, and with a yellow exclamation mark over their heads. And don't voice over their dialog and let us see the reward of the quest we're getting!

Oh... wait...

Radiant AI sets it apart from anything else and it improves immersion greatly so: I want Radiant AI :P

Dude... This is TES, not Mass effect. EVERY npc has to be interactable. It's more than a tradition, it's a rule.
And we don't know how far Radiant AI has evolved now. Oblivion is 4 years old now. In video games industry, that's a lot.

2 months shy of being 5 years old, actually...
