Game does not crash but meshes do not work on new computer

Hello I just got a new computer and am haveing no success in playing Oblivion. The disk loads what appears to be successfully and I go into the game the movies and story proceed per norm, but when I choose a character it does not have any faces just a dark gray background. I can "choose" any race and it loads normally and I end up in gray space but I can walk around the "room" and items will be identified and the script will progress per norm with the dark elf, guards and king arriving,,, etc status bars, compus and dialog are all visible per "norm". The game comtinues to play and does not crash through the begining scene. I have never gone beyond the it reminds me when I would get a glitch in morrowind and had to adjust the "fog" in order to see in some of the cells. It's like playing as a blind person... an interesting concept but does not translate well in reality. I've run the compatability program that came with the system but found not answer. I found similar problems online but the suggested corrections were too much in "tech speak" and I did not understand what they were talking about, and several were just advertisers hocking their programs to people like me who is not too tech savey.
I have updated all drivers individually

Intel Integrated graphics? Yeah the game doesnt like to play on Intel graphics. They are too weak to actually run the game at playable levels. You may get it to run with Oldblivion.
