[relz] Fwe - Fo3 Wanderers Edition #34

Kai will need to chime in on adding shredders to the hotkey. In theory it should be fairly straightforward.

I don't use EVE so you'll have to add that to the FOIP patch :)
All you need to do is add the grenade to the GrenadeList formlist. HUD icon and hotkey will work automatically then.

Edit: case in point, i tried that outcast beginning, and a raider with a tommy gun killed me

You can always either try out the Alternate FWE preset or simply lower the global damage modifier, it makes yourself and especially your enemies much harder to kill in power armor :)

Is this pretty much the definitive list of guns for FWE? What about melee & unarmed?

Here is how this is looking right now - and I'll quit flooding your thread for a bit now hehe.

These weaps will manage fairly directly to the FOOK code version.

Weap223
Weap223EX
Weap223Unique
WeapDeagle - 44mag
WeapDeagleExpMag
Weap14mmPistol
WeaponFNFAL
WeaponFNFALHPFA
WeaponFNFALnightsight
WeapPipeRifle
WeapScopedHuntingRifle
weaptommygun1
WeapGreaseGun
WeapP90
WeaponM60
WeaponLSW
WeapWattzLaserPistol
WeapWattzMagnetoLaserPistol
WeapWattzLaserRifle
WeapWattzLaserRifleExtCap
WeappP94Plasma
WeapPulseRifle
WeapGlock86PlasmaPistol

These will require some additional code.

WeapHKG11
WeapHKG11E
WeapNeedler
WeapXL70E3
WeapCaws
WeapMasher
WeapPancor
WeapVindicatorMinigun

These have a categorical conflict with the FOOK weapons, meaning, they will not be handled intelligently in the presence of the conflicting FOOK weapon -

WeapGaussRifleM72 - conflict - there is a FOOK FO2ECBgMid
WeapGaussPistolPPK12 as above
WeapGaussRifleM72scope as above
WeapGaussPistolPPK24 as above
WeaponBozar - conflict - there is a FOOK BG762Mid

SPECIAL CASES - I have yet to decide on how to handle this.

WeappP94PlasmaTurbo - EW ECpack - - This is run as LG if LG is EW, or as unique CAT if LG is BG
WeapPulsePistol EW ECPack - as above

----------------------------------------------

So, either I'll get the 'easy' ones in first and then roll with the redesign needed to take the others a bit later, or, we'll see what the time available looks like and if they all get setted at once.

I don't know if this has been proposed earlier, but i have a suggestion.
If it would be possible - could enemies in more advanced armors get those armors destroyed by killing them? I mean especially ppl in power armor. Otherwise i quickly sport like 200 PA's in FWE. Well maybe not so quickly but - too quick to my taste (i got a PA on lvl 5 from an Outcast killed by Yao Gui, and training on level 10 when i brought tons of technology for the Outcasts - like 80 sensor modules and so on).
To make usage of PA harder - maybe repairing it or refitting would also require high repair sill or a certain Perk so the the PC nor most of the NPC couldn't repair it too?

I''m proposing this just because I tend to get PA very fast even with FWE. And I'm not really rushing toward having one.

Maybe, I dunno, just don't pick it up if you don't want it? Personally I need all the armor I can get to sell for ammo for my posse, and I still never have all I need unless I cheat.

I'll try that for my Tank, but for now i'll focus on my stealth character, for who i set the settings so that getting shot means getting killed. Will make things quite interesting :D Or frustrating, but in that case i'll return to the default settings.

Guess my main problem with PA is simply that almost all of them become available at the same moment - when the enclave arrives, which is also the point when you can get the training.
But why should I use inferior models when I have the better ones available as well?

RP reasons? My tank always uses the Lyon's Pride armor despite APA, Tesla and Hellfire having better stats. Also the reason my previous EW character only use Tesla Armor, and my current stealth character uses none.

Also there are ways to obtain PA training and T-45d armor long before the enclave shows up.

Man I'm still giddy over Ricardo using FWE. Maybe he'll get me a job making icons for FO4. Hahaha. That'd be awesome.

If Power Armor will be too hard to acquiring and in maintenance, it will be in no demand.
Surplus management is not the best way

In FWE Enclave armor isn't just flatout better than the other PA's, They've been all rebalanced to offer their own advantages.
