Funky Door *with pic*

Having a bit of a problem with the door on Thieve's Den/Dunbarrow Cavern DLC.

There's a http://i43.tinypic.com/fz5dme.jpg. If I don't pay attention and make sure I activate the door I'll go right through to the "nothing" world.

I had this problem happen last time I played but the gap wasn't as wide. I have been in the cave once to get the crew to plunder and the door was ok then. But this time I came back to get my share of the loot, when I left there was this problem.

I just installed the Unofficial patch yesterday and also the patch for DLCs so I think those would have fixed any problem like this. Has anyone else seen this issue with their Dunbarrow cave door?

Why don't you just go in and move it with the CS? It would take all of 30 seconds.

I am also surprised that that is not fixed. Are you sure that the Unofficial Mods Patch for the plugin is not being overriden?

IIRC, door coordinates are saved in the savegame, so if you installed a patch to fix it after already visiting the area, the door would not be moved. You could try a clean save (deactivate the mod, load game, save, re-activate mod, load last save.)

Edit- Alternately, if you don't want to do a clean save, you could always open the console and select the door, then play with the following:

getpos x (a number will show up)
setpos x (the above number, slightly altered)

You can repeat this with get/setpos y and z as well. Be careful for negative numbers and decimal points, and if you mess up, just setpos (whichever axis) to the original value from above.

This has a bit of a learning curve, but it will allow you to dynamically reposition the door along the x, y, and z axis, and the new position will be saved in your game.

Hope this helps.

I think I'll try that, thanks!

Yeah I'm not sure it's the Unofficial patch's problem. I didn't use the unofficial patch before and had the problem but on a lesser scale. I can't imagine I have anything conflicting with that area. I don't think anything loading afterward is overriding that - nothing that would affect that area anyway.
