Sound replacer isn't working

Post » Fri Feb 11, 2011 8:09 am

I downloaded http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=3774 awhile back. Reading through the comments, I found that the files were misnamed, so I fixed that, but the sounds still won't play in game. Obviously they work just fine for everyone else, so what's the deal? There's no esp - it's just a bunch of sound files. All the other sound replacers I've got work fine... is it because they're 4 bit instead of 16? If so, how can I change them?

I use OBMM for that, and yeah, I've tried it. I'll do it again just to be sure.

Someone else mentioned that they needed to have the paths changed and the conversion from 4bit to 16bit you mentioned.

You should be able to do that in a program like Audacity, or another free sound editing program.
