MMM question...

Do I need OOO 1.34 to run OOO along with it. Also, is 1 gig of ram enough to not crash ?

MMM and OOO are completely different mods, different pages, different threads, different lots of other things. 1GB RAM is recommended for vanilla (non-modded) Oblivion. It might be able to run an overhaul, but I would not push for two, and the performance will probably be horrible. I definitely could not say much for the stability of your system running those types of mods.

1. Well duh. Who downloads two mods that are the same ? I have OOO already.
2. Damn. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to keep scrounging so I can get a new computer.

Excuse me, but they way you asked, I though you assumed one of them was an add-on for the other. I guess that was not a real question...? I agree with the new computer route though.

I've got around 900-1200 stored up, and I can probably pump my mom for some dosh (this sounds terrible, I know). I could get a nice office computer and port over my old GPU (Geforce 9400). Thanks for the help.

I have spent a lot of time on Newegg in the past few months. Someone at work was looking for a thousand dollar machine that would fit quietly under his desk. This is my latest attempt at that project.

If you want to spend more money, first upgrade that motherboard and box to a standard ATX setup, especially if you think you might want to graphics cards or more PCI slots. Everything else specs out nicely.

Thanks for the help, I look into that PC thing. I tried MMM, but it made my game stutter.

Although MMM is not a true overhaul (in the since of OOO or Fran) it does add plenty of AI packages with increased creature diversity and modified behavior. Since 1GB only covers the recommended hardware for vanilla Oblivion, you should avoid mods that add many NPCs (creatures or humanoids).
