:obliviongate: everybody most the time has the one quest they really liked and you can find out real quick what kind player you are ... i tend to be the sneaky kind that runs around taking my foes out one by one avoiding all the traps until i collect my prize a one of a kind weapon like sword you need to kill a dragon but if you were ask to make a quest on skyrim and have freedom to do what ever you wanted with it give your opinion's on what kind of game play ya want and detail of what your Quest be about ...

Glarthir's "stakeout" quest was my favorite out of all the TES games.

Whodunit? was really cool as well.

You edited your post before I could flame you for not having Whodunit? on your list. Nice save.

My choice of guild generally depends on what kind of character I'm playing, though since I often play magic using characters in fantasy RPGs, I often join the Mages Guild or some other organization with a similar magic using theme (With my most recent Morrowind character, for example, I joined House Telvanni and not the Mages Guild.) As to which my favorite guild is, it will vary between games depending on each game's portrayal of each guild and will often be a question of which guild has the best quest, so I can't say which faction I'll favor in Skyrim, seeing as I don't know what sort of quests each one will have, or what kind of character I'll play, for that matter, even the faction list hasn't actually been confirmed.

In Oblivion, though, my favorite faction was probably the Dark Brotherhood, followed by the Mages Guild, because their quests seemed more interesting than the legal guilds and actually encouraged, if not required, you to use the skills they should favor, not like the Mages Guild. For Morrowind, it's harder to say because there's so many options to choose from, though I'm leaning towards one of the great houses, I'd say Telvanni, as they seem the more interesting as they're portrayed in Morrowind. As an organization of people, House Redoran seems more likable, but prior to the LGNPC mods, I feel that their quests really didn't do them justice.
