What could Skyrim look like?

Post » Tue Feb 15, 2011 10:33 am

What if they add seasons.

Could drastically change the landscape....snow melting...then reappearing.

This. Would. Be. Awesome!!!

HORKERS!

Mhm. I agree. Skyrim won't look like Bruma the whole time, just parts. I really don't understand why some people seem to think that it will be boring and generic. (Not you, mt_pelion)

Well, all of the pictures that were posted that apparantly look like Skyrim (and everybody agrees on that fact) are some of the most boring, dull landscapes I've ever seen. All grass, trees, snow, and mountains. Fun.

Skyrim would be more than just mountains, snow, trees, and gass. "-_-

Oh yeah, and brown buildings and lakes and rivers. What's at all un-generic about this stuff?

It's not all like that.

Let me try to find the old Skyrim thread. They had some good descriptions of the place that describe Skyrim as anything but generic.

It's exactly like that according to your first post:

I'd expect it to be like the following images of a tundra:

Hopefully they'll have some places very reminiscent of southern Cyrodiil and Camoran's Paradise. Those were my two favorite parts of the game in regards to nature and scenery and whatnot.

I repeat: It's not ALL like that. Only SOME of it. SOME =/= ALL. Okay?

You do not like mountains? Mountains are big. Who knows what's inside.

Is there any major/minor rivers in Skyrim? If so they could be frozen in winter and have a new way to reach another part of the county. Then summer comes along and your stuck for another year...... :sadvaultboy:

I have no problem with mountains. I would have a problem with mountains if that was all there was to Skyrim.

Which, luckily, only part of Skyrim is boring. :P

I wish Lady Nerevar's site was still up...It explained what Skyrim would be like really well.
