Need help with PC version : Fallout 3

Yeah. I bought the game around spring 2009. I tried going online with my Games for Windows LIVE account (the same that I use for Xbox LIVE) and it says I have to update the game. I do so, but the progress bar won't move, so now I can't download the add-on packs ;_;

Any help on this?

Maybe there is a problem with Games for Windows Live?
