Giving up on Jasmine again

Post » Mon Feb 21, 2011 2:56 pm

I'm afraid Jasmine was written for 19 year old nerds not 63 y/o literature lovers.
When I walked onto the Skyrim Mission and found that no program for Astrid would load and all I had was yellow crystalline glop. That was why I gave up in this mod in the first place. I'm no interested in upgrading patch after patch.
I really would like to have played the story line and read the Tall Papa books but Wrye Mash (which might as well be Sanskrit to me)and the almost daily updated MCP are beyond me.
Oh well. Julan and Constance are still great buddies when I need a friend.

Don't know about Jasmine (tho do understand that most modders are around age you mentioned, so I understand how many of that can look and sound a bit childish), but MCP is really easy to use :)
I was afraid of it a bit, I'm PC illiterate, but it's all about opening it up, highlighting the option you want to patch to read what it does, and checking it if you want that. It's practically the same as checking the mods for activation in game.

You know, if you can't get a mod to work, you can ask in http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/964289-jasmine-a-morrowind-companion/page__hl__jasmine for assistance. If a mod isn't to your personal tastes, you can simply un-install the mod. Either way, a separate topic isn't needed.
