More is always better. Fallout 3 had GFWL. Fallout New Vegas has GFWL and some Steam.
What else should we add? Personally, I would feel much happier knowing there is some super-hard to break DRM protecting the profits of those brave souls that develop a Fallout game. I also wouldn't mind adding some extended functionality. Game spy for example gives us more to talk about. And in future Fallout games, if they ever wanted to toss in a cooperative play, they just make use of the built in GameSpy arcade juicyness.
I sincerely hope you're being sarcastic or are just trolling.
DRM is a complete and utter joke. None of them are uncrackable and many of them are nothing more than a royal pain in the ass for user who buy legit copies of games (Starforce, GfWL and even SecuROM is becoming less and less friendly these days - Ubisoft's DRM is probably the most draconian one). You should have seen the 100+ page thread on the Ubisoft forums of people complaining about the DRM system. I wish Bethesda would stick with what they did with Oblivion. A simple CD check without all the annoying crappy ass DRM nonsense that's likely to piss me off for not functioning properly at least once. I don't mind inserting a DVD.
LESS is better.
