Nordic, Solstheim and Snowy resources?

Post » Sat Feb 26, 2011 7:40 am

Hello,

I am looking for graphic resources for reworking a part of Solstheim. There are several projects related to Nords, Solshteim, Skyrim and Nordic culture, but I could not find any list of available resources for modders. Any idea if it's been done by someone?

Thank you.

There will be a bunch of snow and ice meshes in my next resource pack. Anything very specific you wish for?

I am looking for mesh to create landscape: rocks, rocky cliff, cave entrace, waterfall, trees with snow on branches (standing and lying trres, or tree-trunks, full or cut, with snow on them), any icy ground similar to glacier, stalactites. Vegetation (shrubs, fir tree with snow, or frozen herbs)... animated snowy grass would be excellent, but I am afraid none have been done. Also any item/object having some snow on it (house roof, wooden cart, wooden hut, frozen docks, etc.).

If you have any of them, that would be great!

PS: concerning fir tree, I have a nice model coming from a mod that I forgot. But it is green, not snowy, and the fir trunks is to straight, it looks like a wooden stick. Otherwise, it's a nice fir model that could be rextetured.

I'm working on http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1120637-wiprel-on-the-rocks/, but I'll need some time before coming to Solstheim. :)

I'm working on pretty much those kind of meshes right now. Well they are in the pipeline. You just gave me a nice list to start with =) A lot of the meshes that are in the next resource-pack (or even the current one) can be retextured for a cold, snowy/icy feel. I have some nice textures for frost covered surfaces, brick and wood. I'll try get this pack finished by the end of the month. No promise but I'll try.

Thank you all for these kind replies and authorizations! :)

No problem C_Mireneye, I can begin the work with basic models and some resources, but for sure I will eagerly wait for your resources pack!
