In more detail, I'm talking about the different stances and unique attacks you can do with each skill class. Thus each class determines your strategy
Not sure if I follow you there, classes are out of Skyrim... Nonetheless, I think there is some truth in what you point out. At least they should do something to make a difference in characters swings. Although I think the most realistic thing would be to actually put in certain demands on using pieces of armor or weapons. Honestly, a level 1 Wood Elf thief (or whatever stealth class, they are out anyway) with 30 in strength, can wield a 60 pound claymore the same way a big Nord level 20 warrior would. I know that the skills make the sword less effective for the Wood Elf, but it
looks exactly the same as with the Nord and I think it ought to be impossible for the Wood Elf to actually swing the blade at all. That would be a way of fixing it for me: making you need for instance a certain level of strength (or other relevant attributes) to wield certain weapons (materials, size, weight), and the obviously make unique animations depending on the weapon in hand (you simply swing the blade differently if it's a short blade or a dagger than you would a long sword or claymore). :poke:
