Spaces in object id's

Does anyone know how to (if it's possoble) configure the Construction Set so it'll allow you to put spaces or extra characters such as underscores and brackets between words in the ID of an object or the RefID of an object? I always have trouble reading them, so I've tried to put spaces between words but then it just automatically smooshes them together when you click away. If someone knows how to do this, please tell me. Thanks.

There is no way to do that, unfortunately. I find it easier to read things if I capitalize the first letter of each word in an ID, SortOfLikeThis. It's not ideal, but it's the best the CS will allow. Hope this helps.

I might be wrong, but I thought you could add periods?
