I"m a bit new to the forums, have a big RPG background, and highly interested in joining one of the RPs but it seems that most of the ones that are up are already in full swing. So I guess my question is is there any RP going on that you'd think it wouldn't be too hard for me to join or something similar

Well, with alot of Role Plays, if you politely ask the storys maker (New Manhattan= Alex and etc) As long as you send in a character sheet to the OP and wait until s/he gives you the okay, you can slowly intertwine yourself into the story.

Yep yep, most RPs are always happy to have newcomers. Read that whichever RP(s) you want to join so you know what's happening, then send a well written CS to the hosts.
