I had a weird problem develop halfway through Fallout 3 that has carried over into New Vegas. For the last half or third of Fallout 3, I could not move my screwdriver to pick locks. The bobby pin will move but I can't get the screwdriver to turn. It worked fine initially. Now, upon loading and beginning play with New Vegas, I'm having the same problem. The only way I can get into a locked box is to save, force the lock, reload if it doesn't work, repeat and rinse until it opens.

I've searched high and wide and haven't found anyone with a similar problem. Anyone out there heard of this?
