Geck Crashing, Help Needed

Hey, i made a custom gun rigged to the G3 assualt rifle, but when i select the model the geck crashes every time, can someone tell me what im doing wrong so in can fix it?
thanks in advance.
Oh yes, i just re-installed the geck + fo3, do i needa patch it and thats why its doing this?
EDIT: patched it, still doesnt work with just my one model, any ideas? Oh yes, and i just went through the standard precedure of replacing the mesh data of the parts and selecting my texture.

Check the nimaterialproperty of each nitristrip for a really long names with lots of numbers.... just remove the name altogether if you like. You might also check the BSFadenode's children tree for blanks. I'm not sure the last suggestion will cause a crash, but the first one has caused crashes for me.

Thanks, ive tried these but they didnt exist. Then i looked and my newest file was in the compatibility files, i moved it over and it works great.
Also can i remove the slide off of a gun without it messing up the file? An eldar shurikan gun doesnt look good with a slide.
