Maybe windows rearranged your stuff because FO3 was running fullscreened a moment ago.

maybe it wont move stuff around if you configure FO3 to run in a window via the settings thing when you load the game from the start menu (not that I'd ever play the game in a window).

Try minimizing the geck, then playing the game, then when you close just un-minimize it. I do this and it never moves windows around, but it might be unrelated.

This happens to me every time. I never knew there was anything that could be done about it.

Huh - same here - though it only started happening to me after I re-installed my system a few months ago. I'll give the "minimizing before playing" technique and report back what I find. That would be very handy.

Are you running the game at the same resolution as your desktop? If not, then the resizing of the resolution to match that of the game would cause program windows to become squished, thus, the "moved" windows you are seeing.

Yea forget what I said, this is it. This problem does not occur on my computer, or my friends, but our games match our desktops resolutions.
