Does anyone know how to get this game running on Windows 7 Im dieing to play it since I got it for like 2$. I tried tinkering with compatibility settings and uninstalled and reinstalled it but still nothing works. Ill get to the part where it goes fullscreen and says Jedi Knight then it stops working.

oh crap...........i liked that game. not as much as 2 but it was still fun. what really pissed me off was when republic commando stopped working on newer nvidia cards. that was one of the really good shooters around.

Might be a video card driver issue. Did you update it?

When I had purchased it on Steam it worked perfect on both the 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows 7. I am not sure what else to try if you tried compatability settings though.

Odd, it works fine for me.

Try validating the files through steam.

Might have to do with being a disc version. My new copy is Steam and it works on my 64bit machine. Try running it in windowed mode maybe?

Well apparently it has some issue with recent ATI graphics cards and/or drivers. I couldn't get it to work on my HD4850 either, same for Jedi Knight 2. But http://lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=206018 worked for me.

I got it on Steam recently (I've long sicne lost my physical copies) and it runs perfectly fine on Windows 7.

EDIT: I also have an ATI graphics card, but I've had no issues with running the game.
