SImply amazing.

Well, I discovered Fallout 3 about two weeks ago. I never had any temptation to play it because I was not a fan of Oblivion. But, I bought the GOTY edition, after reading all of the hype concerning New Vegas. And the rest, as they say, is history. This is simply the greatest game I have ever played. Every aspect is simply amazing. The combat never gets old (I am now pushing the 40 hours mark) and I am still discovering new places. I couldn't understand how people put 100 hours in one game, now I do. I still have not finished discovering the original story and I will have 5 DLC's to sink my teeth into next.

Of course, I have also bought New Vegas. I will be patient for the release of the patches because I have the luxury of being totally into F3. I can understand that it must be very frustrating to lose save games because of corrupt data. I know F3 had some bugs, but New Vegas seems to be much, much worse. I now join the others in hoping the patch will be here soon and that it will fix the game breaking bugs.

Same for me :D

I had the vanila game of FO3 and Oblivion (bought both around the time FO3 was released) but my old PC wouldn't run them. After upgrading 6 months later I decided to play Oblivion first and then ended up playing FO3 a year after its release. I haven't stopped playing FO3 since then... well until Vegas came along that is :)

I think I've completed it 4 times now. As long as you make sure you have a small break from it now and again, it never gets old :fallout:

I'm on my 4th playthrough and I expect it to last at least 100 hours again this time :D Yep FA3 is great, as long as you install a couple of mods :)

I know how you feel; I got this game and could not stop playing it. Look for all the mods you can find; they make the game even better than you could have dreamed.

I've played it more times than that... I've been evil, I've been good, I've been neutral. F3 alone made my expensive PS3 pay for itself several times over.
