what happened to...

I am back agaib after a couple of years from obliv. been in wow and fallout3, there used to be some optional plugins for mmm and a few other overhauls, but I no longer see them.

the one where when you pick herbs, they disappear,
the one that removes map markers unless you have been there,
living economy I believe was the name of another,
and the one that makes it so that the crates and barrels in IC were owned

http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/OOO/OOO_Guide.html includes a number of the features you have mentioned. The pick and disappear mod is http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2037. Living Economy has been succeeded in spirit by http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25078, and you will need http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&ved=0CAgQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fobse.silverlock.org%2F&ei=EaOuS6ajB4aglAeE5YD2BQ&usg=AFQjCNH8XIX2DHFotAglNGVXhXsXuHxz0w&sig2=irVAcCN-yEUS7MYafYlmDQ to use it. I believe there is a separate ownership mod, but I cannot recall it.

Edit: I have found a few: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/search.php?name=ownership&scid=20&author=&mname=&desc=&size1=&size2=&downloads1=&downloads2=&udate1_day=&udate1_month=&udate1_year=&udate2_day=&udate2_month=&udate2_year=&ldate1_day=&ldate1_month=&ldate1_year=&ldate2_day=&ldate2_month=&ldate2_year=&endorsemants=&images=&readme=&advltonly=&page=1&orderby=name&order=ASC. However, OOO does include that feature.

I just walked someone through OOO+MMM with BAIN. Check out http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1083199-martigens-monster-mod-ooo/. It is pretty low-level. I love OOO and MMM. Ask away if you have any questions if you decide to try it out.

BAIN is Bash's Installer. All you have to do to initialize it is click on the "Installers" tab in Wrye Bash, to the vary left.

Oh, you should probably read ahead some to see how Albertine went through the steps, what troubles he had and what not. I am working on a guide, but it is not finished quite yet, unfortunately. The conversations are not as orderly a read.
